Orlaith and Gavin were delighted to host a business and networking morning in aid of Ablevision Ireland at their home in Bellewstown, Co Meath. Orlaith and Gavin have been involved with Ablevision since it began in 2013 and have offered their support and expertise to raise much needed funds for the cause.

Ablevision, based in Drogheda, is a media production and training company for people with Intellectual disabilities. Through training and encouragement, participants develop and produce their own work which they hope will not only educate but challenge expectations about living life with an intellectual disability.

Founder of Ablevision, John Delany explains why Ablevision is so important “We believe that our crews can and will be role models for others with intellectual challenges. The personal development we have seen through our programmes, and the quality of the work produced speaks for itself.”

Co -founder of East Coast Bakehouse and Dragons Den star, Alison Cowzer, was guest speaker at the event which was attended by representatives from the business community in Louth and Meath. Hosts Orlaith and Gavin were thrilled with the turn out and hoped that the local business community would continue to support the Ablevision crews with their work.
